Reflexology, or foot pressure therapy, is similar to acupressure and practiced for thousands of years across many cultures. It is non-invasive and complementary to other forms of healthcare.

The technique uses alternating pressure to stimulate the nervous system and balance the body and mind.

Every tissue and organ in the body are controlled by a complex interaction of chemicals and hormones, which is controlled by the brain through the endocrine system. The endocrine system and central nervous system govern the body, and reflexology is one of the few forms of bodywork that can directly influence these systems.

Reflexology provides many benefits, such as lowered stress levels, increased circulation, improved nerve function, increased energy and a boosted immune system, just to name a few...it is also deeply relaxing!

Clients who find it a challenge to relax for full-body massage report that they are able to relax for the first time.

This extended session starts with an invigorating hot water jetted hydrotherapy soak, which includes Epsom salt and eucalyptus essential oil to warm up and clean the feet. Reflexology begins with the ears to calm the nervous system. I then reflex the feet, which is the bulk of the time. Lastly, I reflex the hands to synergistically balance the entire body. I also target reflex points on the feet utilizing essential oils to promote wellbeing. The session ends with a cleansing hot foot wrap.
